Copa Judaica Ellis Island Collection Dolls (6) - Porcelain 20" Headed to EBay

From The Ellis Island Collection by Copa Judaica 

The features, costumes and background stories of the Ellis Island Collection of Porcelain Dolls are inspired by the collected memories of the descendants of Eastern European Jews who immigrated to America through Ellis Island in the late 1800s.

Each doll is in its original box with accessories included. Some dolls were displayed briefly in a glass case at a PA Bed & Breakfast owned by my parents. The dolls are in excellent condition. Disintegrated rubber bands were removed. TAGS are not included. I do not know what happened to them. All dolls inspected thoroughly. The original boxes have faded and are in fair condition.

Miriam: Goodness! Said Miriam quite shyly. I really must practice some more. When I played on the boat, I missed many a note. But I must not now that I am ashore.

Molly: Filled with excitement, Molly prepares to begin a new life in America. Her father is a professor and her mother an accomplished dressmaker who made her entire outfit, down to her travel bag in which Molly carries a little dog, a gift from her eldest brother, Bernard. 

Rebecca: "Rebecca" From my pretty Babushka to the tips of my toes. I shivered in Russia, and frequently froze. So we caught a slow boat, left our friends a short note, And arrived wearing all our best clothes." 

Sarah: We left our home and came away far, far across the sea. I brought my purse and pretty shoes. as you can plainly see!
