Dolls's History

I met Sybille Sauer in 2003 at IDEX in Orlando, Florida. She is an amazing artist from Germany attending the Show with Heart & Soul Dolls (DE).  I purchased several OOAKs from back in 2003-2005.

This doll was sculpted pre-"reborning" and very few vinyl doll kits were only being produced at that time. Val Shelton, Elly Knoops and AVDW were the only doll kits I was aware of back then. The vinyl was hard like a rock. There was no ply in the vinyl at all. Softer vinyl came a few years later. Hair was applied with glue which was typical of that era in the doll world. I was captivated by the realism. Little did we know how much the doll industry would transform back then! The doll has been stored in it's original box only removed for photographing and needs a good forever home! Lynne
